1. Recall Summary
This recall involves all SereneLife brand above-ground pools that are 48 inches and taller. The recall was announced on December 18, 2025, by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in cooperation with Sound Around Inc., doing business as SereneLife Home. The recall number is 26162. The recalled pools were sold online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Wayfair.com, Target.com, and the SereneLife website (serenelifehome.com) from December 2021 through May 2025. The approximate retail price was between $300 and $500, depending on the size and model of the pool and accessories purchased. The number of units affected is about 80. The pools were manufactured in China.
2. Affected Products
The recalled products are SereneLife brand above-ground pools that are 48 inches and taller. The specific models included in this recall are SLPORND15 and SLPORND18. The model information and the SereneLife logo are printed on the liner on the outside of the pool. The recalled above-ground pools contain a compression strap, also referred to as a reinforcing belt, that wraps around the pool on the outside of the vertical support poles.
3. Hazard Information
The compression strap (reinforcing belt) that wraps around the outside of the vertical support poles may create a foothold. This foothold can allow a child to access the pool and drown. Children can still gain access to the pools using these footholds even if the ladder is removed. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled above-ground pools immediately. Consumers should contact SereneLife Home for a full refund. To receive a full refund, consumers will need to provide photographic evidence of destruction or disposal of the product. The CPSC’s website, www.PoolSafely.gov, has free, downloadable educational materials available to the public on pool safety, including information on barriers, covers, alarms, and other safety information.

The official remedy is a full refund. Consumers must provide photographic evidence of destruction or disposal of the product to receive the full refund from SereneLife Home.
