On September 18, 2025, IcyBreeze Cooling LLC, of Grapevine, Texas, announced a recall of approximately 22,600 IcyBreeze Buddy Portable Misting Fans. The recalled product is a portable, battery-operated misting fan equipped with a 1.5-liter water tank for continuous misting. It can operate on AC power or using a 10,000 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery for up to 7 hours of outdoor use. The fan displays “ICYBREEZE” on both the fan and the base and is available in slate blue, gray, and seafoam. The units were sold online at www.icybreeze.com and Amazon.com from November 2023 through August 2024 for about $150. The product was manufactured in China.
