Approximately 11,480 units were sold in the United States, and an additional 2,184 units were sold in Canada. The recalled ovens were sold online at Amazon.com, Costco.com, Panasonic.com, and other online platforms nationwide from October 2024 through April 2026, with a retail price of about $170. The product was manufactured by Panasonic Manufacturing (Xiamen) Co., Ltd., in Xiamen, Fujian, China, and imported by Panasonic Corporation of North America, of Newark, New Jersey.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that the power cord insulation can be insufficient due to a protective fiberglass sleeve not covering it adequately. This condition poses a risk of electric shock and/or fire hazard. As of the recall publication date, there have been four consumer reports of tripped circuit breakers or outlets, and one report that the product stopped working. No fires or injuries have been reported in connection with this defect.
