Recall Summary
On November 9, 2023, a recall was announced for approximately 13,300 units of iMOONZZZ-branded children’s nightgowns. The recall was issued due to the garments failing to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, which poses a burn hazard to children. The recall notice was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

Affected Products
The recall involves four styles of iMOONZZZ children’s nightgowns sold in sizes 3-4T, 5-6 Years, 6-7 Years, 7-8 Years, 8-9 Years, and 10-12 Years. Each garment has a sewn-in, side-seam label that includes the brand name “iMOONZZZ,” “Made in China,” the size, fiber content, and washing instructions. The four styles and their specifications are as follows:

1. Nightgowns for Girls, Long Vintage Soft Cotton Sleepwear, Full Length Nightdress – Colors: White, pink, blue, Vintage floral, Sakura, Rainbow Castle, Colorful Floral, Sweet Rose, Striped Flowers. Fabric: 100% Cotton.
2. Nightgowns for Girls, Long Vintage Soft Cotton Sleepwear, Full Length Short Sleeve Nightdress – Colors: White, pink, blue, Vintage Floral, Sakura. Fabric: 100% Cotton.
3. Nightgowns for Girls, Soft Cotton Long Sleeve Sleepwear, Full Length Mesh Nightdress – Colors: White. Shell: 100% Polyester. Lining: 95% Cotton, 5% Spandex.
4. Girls Princess Nightgown, Winter Soft Fleece Long Sleeve Sleepwear – Colors: Blue, white, pink. Fabric: 95% Polyester, 5% Elastane.

The nightgowns were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from March 2023 through June 2023 for between $20 and $29. The importer is iMOONZZZ, of China. The manufacturer country is China.

Hazard Information
The children’s nightgowns fail to meet the flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. This violation poses a risk of burn injuries to children. As of the recall date, no injuries have been reported.

Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children and stop using them. Consumers must then contact iMOONZZZ for a full refund. As part of the remedy process, consumers will be asked to destroy the garments by cutting them in half and disposing of them in accordance with local state recycling laws. After destroying the garment, consumers should send a photo of the destroyed garment by email to imoonzzz-recall@cdreame.com. Upon receipt of the photo, iMOONZZZ will issue a full refund of the purchase price. The recalling firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Official Remedy
The official remedy is a full refund. Consumers must destroy the recalled nightgowns (cut them in half) and provide photographic proof of destruction to iMOONZZZ via email. After the photo is received, the refund will be processed.
