On November 9, 2023, DR Power Equipment, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of certain tow-behind field and brush mowers. The recall involves units sold under the DR Power Equipment and Generac brand names. The recall was initiated due to a defect involving the exhaust pipe, which can break and cause damage to the unit due to excessive heat, posing fire and burn hazards. Generac Tow-Behind Field and Brush Mowers:
– Model TB 25044GENG: Serial numbers 3003540054 to 3004428691.
Units Sold: Approximately 2,930 units in the United States and 102 units in Canada.
Sold At: Authorized DR Power Equipment dealers nationwide and online at drpower.com and Generac.com from November 2015 through April 2021. The retail price was between $3,400 and $4,000.

3. Hazard Information
