Recall Summary
On April 20, 2023, Bagno Milano LLC, of Holiday, Florida, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of approximately 3,600 children’s robes. The recall was issued due to the products’ failure to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries had been reported. The recall number assigned by CPSC is 23746.

Affected Products
The recalled products are “Natura Cotton” branded children’s 100% cotton terry cloth robes. The robes are long-sleeved, hooded, and feature two front pockets and two side seam belts for tying the robe together in the front. They were sold in sizes 1 year through size 13 years. Available colors include white, gray, cream, blue, navy, purple, pink, and orange. The sewn-in neck label displays “Made in Turkey,” “100% Cotton,” and washing instructions. The robes were sold online at www.bagnomilanousa.com and www.amazon.com from June 2022 through March 2023, with prices ranging between $20 and $47. The manufacturer country is Turkey.

Hazard Information
The children’s robes fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. This violation poses a risk of burn injuries to children. No other hazards were specified in the recall notice. No injuries have been reported in connection with this product.

Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately take the recalled robes away from children and stop using them. Consumers are instructed to contact Bagno Milano for a full refund. As part of the remedy process, consumers who purchased the robes will be asked to destroy the robes by cutting them both vertically and horizontally and disposing of them in accordance with local state recycling laws. After destroying the robes, consumers should send a photo of the destroyed robes to the recalling firm at support@bagnomilanousa.com. Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price. Consumers who purchased the robes from Amazon.com will be contacted through Amazon’s messaging platform. Bagno Milano is contacting all known purchasers directly.
