The firm has received five reports of the rattles breaking apart in the United Kingdom. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled products are Primark baby rattles sold in yellow, red, light green, and light blue colors. The red baby rattle features a “Minnie Mouse” image on it, and the yellow baby rattle features a “Mickey Mouse” image on it. The product packaging includes one of the following numbers: 7495201 (for the Wooden Music Shaker) or 5311101 (for the DTR M&M Maracas). The products were sold exclusively at Primark U.S. stores located in the northeast region, Florida, Maryland, and Chicago. The rattles were sold from March 2021 through August 2023 for between $3.50 and $4.50. The total number of units affected by this recall is approximately 1,380. The products were manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that the bottom portion of the recalled baby rattles can detach. This detachment poses a choking and/or ingestion hazard to children.
