Recall Summary
On October 31, 2024, HALO Branded Solutions Inc., of Sterling, Illinois, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of approximately 60,000 reusable tumblers with metal straws. The recall was initiated due to a laceration hazard associated with the metal straw. The tumblers were sold exclusively at Wawa stores in Alabama, Washington D.C., Delaware, Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland during the month of August 2024. The product was manufactured in China.

Affected Products
The recalled product is a reusable 24-ounce plastic tumbler that includes a metal straw. The tumbler comes with a tan lid. Four styles are included in the recall:
– “The Mermaid” – pink and green
– “Island Surf” – blue and yellow
– “Sailor Breeze” – tan and orange
– “The Galaxy” – blue and pink

Hazard Information

Two remedy options are available:
1. Replacement: Consumers may return only the metal straw to HALO and receive a free replacement silicone straw.
2. Refund: Consumers may return the entire tumbler (including the metal straw) to HALO and receive a $15 gift card as a refund.

In both cases, HALO provides a pre-paid shipping label. No proof of purchase is required.
