1. Recall Summary
On May 8, 2025, Sanven Technology Ltd., of Rancho Cucamonga, California, initiated a recall of approximately 800 Vevor stainless steel cable railing kits. The recall was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) under Recall Number 25251. The kits were sold for indoor or outdoor use and were manufactured in China. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products
The recalled products are Vevor cable railing kits. The cable support posts are made of stainless steel and were sold in black and silver colors. “Vevor” is printed on a label located on the top of each support post. The P/N (part number) or P/C (product code) is printed on the label of the product’s outer packaging. If the outer packaging has been discarded, the product model can be identified by the following features:

– Model 1JZLGZHS9142UYBR4V0: Black, 10 holes, 36-inch overall height, 1.18” x 1.96” cross-section, L-shaped holes.
– Model 1JZLGZHS1067CSWRBV0: Black, 12 holes, 42-inch overall height, 1.18” x 1.96” cross-section, L-shaped holes.
– Model 1JZLGZ106755UOBB9V0: Black, 12 holes, 42-inch overall height, 1.96” x 1.96” cross-section, L-shaped holes.
– Model LGZY106.72.55KZF0V0: Silver, 12 holes, 42-inch overall height, 1” x 2” cross-section, horizontal holes.
– Model 1JZLGZ91455YMDM3LV0 / 1JZLGZ91455YMDM3LV0-0801: Silver, 10 holes, 36-inch overall height, 1.96” x 1.96” cross-section, horizontal holes.

The kits were sold online at Home Depot.com, Lowes.com, Walmart.com, Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, and vevor.com from May 2021 through September 2024 for between $32 and $40 per kit.

3. Hazard Information
The bottom hole on the cable support posts is located more than four inches from the bottom of the base plate. This design feature poses an entrapment hazard to consumers. No injuries have been reported as of the recall date.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cable railing kits. Consumers should prevent children from accessing the area where the kits are located. Consumers must contact Vevor to arrange for a full refund. Vevor will provide pre-paid shipping labels so that consumers can return the recalled cable railing kits. Alternatively, consumers may provide photographic evidence of disposal or destruction of the cable support posts to the email address recalling@vevor.com.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy is a full refund. Consumers who return the recalled cable railing kits (or provide photographic evidence of disposal or destruction of the cable support posts) will receive a full refund from Vevor. Pre-paid shipping labels will be provided by Vevor for the return of the kits.
