Recall Summary
On November 6, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published Recall Number 26077 for Neaude-branded adult portable bed rails. The recall involves model BR0221SL001. The recalled bed rails were sold on Amazon by Neaude from August 2023 through March 2025. The distributor is Ruiyewenhuachuanboshenzhenyouxiangongsi, doing business as Neaude, of China. The product was manufactured in China. Approximately 3,294 units are affected. No injuries have been reported.

Affected Products
The recalled product is the Neaude Adult Portable Bed Rail, model BR0221SL001. The bed rails measure approximately 37 inches wide and about 14 inches high. They can fold or unfold by pressing a red handle button. Two color variations are included in the recall:
– A silver top rail with silver support columns, blue accents, and a red handle button.
– A faux wood top rail with silver support columns in a wave design, white accents, and a red handle button.

The bed rails were sold on Amazon from August 2023 through March 2025 for between $55 and $65.

Hazard Information
The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails. According to the recall notice, when the bed rails are attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress. This poses a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. Additionally, the bed rails do not have the required warning labels. No injuries have been reported as of the recall date.

Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled adult portable bed rails. The recall notice provides the following specific instructions:
1. Write “RECALLED” on the upper and lower rails with a permanent marker.
2. Write “Bought on or after August 21, 2023” on a piece of paper.
3. Take a photo of the marked bed rails alongside the piece of paper.
4. Email the photo to ruiye1234@outlook.com.
5. Dispose of the recalled product in accordance with state and local waste disposal procedures.
