1. Recall Summary
On June 13, 2024, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published Recall Number 24263 regarding Nap Queen Sleep Victoria Hybrid Mattresses. The recall was initiated by the importer, Adven Group, doing business as Nap Queen Sleep, of Missouri City, Texas. The recall involves all sizes and thicknesses of the Nap Queen Sleep Victoria Cooling Gel and Pocket Coil Hybrid Mattresses manufactured prior to October 2023. The mattresses were sold compressed in a box. The single-sided mattresses have a white knit top panel quilted in wavy diamonds, and a black woven quilted side panel. The top and bottom edges of the mattress are black with yellow stitching. A white label sewn onto the mattress cover displays “Nap Queen Sleep,” “Victoria Hybrid,” the model number, and the manufacture date. The recall notice states that the firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.

The recalled products are the Nap Queen Sleep Victoria Cooling Gel and Pocket Coil Hybrid Mattresses. The mattresses were sold in all sizes and thicknesses manufactured prior to October 2023. Approximately 117,200 units were sold in the United States. The mattresses were sold at stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Walmart, Home Depot, Wayfair, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Napqueensleep.com from February 2020 through October 2023, with prices ranging between $160 and $375. The mattresses were manufactured in the United States, Kosovo, and Greece.
3. Hazard Information
The recalled mattresses violate mandatory federal flammability regulations for mattresses. This violation poses a fire hazard to consumers. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported in connection with this hazard.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled mattresses immediately. Consumers should then contact Nap Queen Sleep to receive a free fitted cover to put on their mattress. The fitted cover is intended to bring the mattress into compliance with the federal standard. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly regarding this remedy.
