On June 9, 2022, Hisense USA, of Suwanee, Georgia, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of certain bottom freezer, French door refrigerators. The recall involves approximately 55,200 units in the United States and an additional 78 units in Canada. The refrigerators were sold exclusively at Lowe’s stores nationwide and online at Lowes.com from August 2020 through February 2022 for about $1,500. The refrigerators were manufactured in China.
