This recall involves Gagaku-branded wooden ice cream shop toy playsets. The recall was initiated due to the toys violating the mandatory federal safety standard for toys. 2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the “Gagaku Wooden Ice Cream Shop Toy Playset.” The set includes 16 wooden pieces: a cash register, three ice cream cones, six scoops of ice cream, four popsicles, and two cupcakes in varying colors or “flavors.” The set also comes with one plastic credit card, five plastic dollar bills, one plastic menu, and a two-level pink display box. The display box is labeled “ICE-CREAM” on the front and has a black sign on the side. The words “GAGAKU” and “Model: KABI-0176 G062401IC” are printed on a label on the underside of the toy.

Approximately 340 units were sold. The toys were manufactured in China. The distributor is Brandworl Management Co., Limited, doing business as Brandworl.USA, of Hong Kong. The toys were sold online at Amazon.com from October 2024 through June 2025 for a price between $17 and $30.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled toys violate the mandatory standard for toys because they contain high-powered magnets. These magnets can loosen and detach from the toy, posing an ingestion hazard to children. According to the recall notice, when high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning, and death. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled toys. The toys must be taken away from children. Consumers are instructed to destroy the toy by writing “RECALLED” with a permanent marker on each piece of the toy. After destroying the toy, consumers must take a photo of the destroyed toy and send that photo to Brandworl@gmail.com. After sending the photo, consumers should dispose of the recalled toy.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy for this recall is a full refund. After consumers send a photo of the destroyed toy to Brandworl.USA, they will receive a full refund for the purchase price of the toy.
