The retail price range was between $4 and $13. Approximately 80 units were sold in the United States. The hair dryers were manufactured in China. The distributor is Shenzhen Electronic Commerce Co. Ltd., and the additional distributor is Yaoyi Electronic Commerce Co. Ltd., of China. The importer is AliExpress, of San Mateo, California.

Hazard Information
The recalled hair dryers lack an immersion protection device. According to the recall notice, this deficiency can cause death or serious injury due to electrocution or shock hazards if the hair dryer falls into water while plugged in. The product is in violation of federal regulations and has been determined to present a substantial product hazard. No incidents or injuries have been reported to date.
