1. Recall Summary
This recall is an expansion of a previous recall (June 2021) involving SIORO-branded 100% cotton, terry cloth children’s robes. The recall was announced due to the products violating federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard. The recall expansion adds approximately 5,000 additional units to the approximately 950 units recalled in June 2021. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products
The recalled products are SIORO-branded 100% cotton, terry cloth children’s robes. The robes are long-sleeved with a hood, two front pockets, and a matching belt. The following colors are included in this recall expansion: Rose Pink, Light Pink, Pure White, Falcon Gray, and Green Mist. The following colors were included in the original June 2021 recall: Light Blue, Navy, Peacock Blue, Gray Blue, and Plum. Sizes sold include 4-5T, 6-7 Years, and 8-10 Years. On the front of the neck label is a flamingo, the text “100% Cotton”, and “Made in China”. On the back of the neck label are washing instructions. The robes were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from November 2021 through July 2023 for between $20 and $27. The product was imported by SIORO, of China, and manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information
The children’s robes violate the flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately take the recalled robes away from children and stop using them. Consumers should destroy the garments by cutting them in half. After destroying the garment, consumers must send a photo of the destroyed garment to SIORO at amazonus@sioro.com. Upon receipt of the photo, SIORO will refund consumers the purchase price. After receiving the refund, consumers should dispose of the destroyed garments in accordance with local and state recycling laws.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy is a full refund. Consumers must destroy the recalled robes by cutting them in half and submit a photo of the destroyed garment to SIORO via email. Upon receipt of the photo, SIORO will refund the purchase price.
