The helmets were sold in the following colors or color combinations: blue, green, purple, red, pink, black/blue, green/black, pink/green, pink/purple, pink/white, purple/white, red/black, pink/mint, or multi-color. Designs on the helmets include checkers, lines, polka dots, rainbows, and swirls. The model name, model number, and manufacture date in MM/YY or M/YY format are located on a sticker inside the helmet.

The specific model names, model numbers, colors, and manufacture dates are as follows:
– Model B0494Y: Axle, colors Pink/Purple and Pixels Green, manufacture date 9/24.
– Model B0605C: Cadence, color Rainbow Road, manufacture date 10/24; color Red, manufacture date 9/24; color Pink/White Checkers, manufacture dates 9/24 and 10/24; color Black/Blue, manufacture date 10/24; color Blue/Black and Purple/White, manufacture dates 8/24, 9/24, and 10/24; Rev, color Red/Black Swirl, manufacture dates 8/24 and 9/24.
– Model B0605Y: Cadence, colors Black/Red, Pink/Mint, Black/Blue, Purple, Pink Polka, and Green/Black; Frenzy, colors Blue/Black and Pink Scuba; Passage, color Blue Comet. Manufacture dates for model B0605Y are not specified in the recall notice.

The helmets were sold at Walmart, Target, Academy Sports + Outdoors, and other stores nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com, FredMeyer.com, Academy.com, and Target.com from September 2024 through May 2025 for approximately $20.

The official remedy is a full refund. Consumers who destroy the helmet by cutting the straps off and provide photographic proof to Bell Sports will receive a full refund.
