The recall was published on March 30, 2023. The recall number is 23741. No injuries have been reported.

The production date for all recalled units is 202110. Approximately 5,300 units were sold. The helmets were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from March 2022 through January 2023 for about $24. The importer is JBM International Electric Ltd., of Newark, Delaware. The helmets were manufactured in China.
Hazard Information
The recalled helmets do not comply with the positional stability and labeling and certification requirements of the U.S. CPSC federal safety standard for bicycle helmets. The helmets can fail to protect in the event of a crash, posing a risk of head injury. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmets. Consumers should destroy the recalled helmet by cutting off the straps. After destroying the helmet, consumers must email a photo of the helmet with the straps cut off to jbmgearcs@gmail.com. After submitting proof of destruction, consumers should dispose of the recalled helmets. JBM International is contacting all known purchasers directly.
