1. Recall Summary
This recall involves the Acer AES015 two-wheeled folding electric scooters. The scooters are designed to allow the user to fold the front tube down to the platform for compact transport and storage. They were sold in black with a green and white decal on the front tube and the sides of the platform, and the wheels have a green circle around the rim. The model number AES015 is located on the label on the front tube. The recall was initiated by Acer America Corporation, of Irvine, California. The scooters were manufactured in China.

2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the Acer AES015 Two-Wheeled Folding Electric Scooter. The model number AES015 is located on the label on the front tube. Approximately 510 units were sold in the United States. In addition, about 311 units were sold in Canada and about 150 units were sold in Mexico. The scooters were sold online at Acer.com, Amazon.com, and in stores at BrandMart between June 2023 and February 2026 for between $245 and $70.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is: A loose screw can cause the front tube to fold down unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury from a fall hazard. As of the recall date, no injuries have been reported in the United States. One report of the tube folding down resulting in a fall and minor abrasions has been reported internationally.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled folding electric scooter immediately and contact Acer at the website provided for instructions on how to tighten the screw. Free repair tools will be available to consumers upon request.
