Recall Information Record – BISSELL Cordless Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuum (Expanded Recall)

On April 6, 2023, BISSELL Homecare Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced an expansion of a previous recall of certain cordless multi-surface wet dry vacuums. This expansion adds approximately 2,000 units of models 2551R and 25518 to the recall. A prior recall, announced in January 2023, covered about 56,000 units of models 2551, 2551W, and 25519. The recall expansion is due to a fire hazard involving the vacuum’s battery pack.
