1. Recall Summary
Stokke LLC, of Stamford, Connecticut, is recalling approximately 2,890 YOYO³ strollers. The recall was initiated due to a reported hazard involving the stroller’s parking brake. The recall notice states that the parking brake on the recalled strollers can disengage, posing an injury hazard. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
2. Affected Products
The recall involves YOYO³ strollers with serial numbers starting with “142AA” followed by numbers that fall below “0062239.” Only strollers with these specific serial numbers are affected. The strollers are compact, four-wheel, foldable strollers designed for children aged approximately 0 to 48 months. The stroller frame is black or black and white. The stroller seat and canopy are available in the following colors: black, Bonpoint beige, stone, olive, taupe, toffee, ginger, Air France blue, or aqua. The wheels have a white reflective center. The serial number is located on a tracking label under the stroller seat.
The recalled strollers were sold in store and online at Bloomingdale’s, Crate and Barrel, Nordstrom, Albee Baby, and Macro baby, as well as online at stokke.com, Amazon.com, and Babylist.com from September 2024 through October 2024 for approximately $450. The strollers were manufactured in China.
3. Hazard Information
