3. Hazard Information
The recalled fuel containers violate the mandatory safety standards for portable fuel containers because they lack flame mitigation devices required under the Portable Fuel Container Safety Act. This violation poses a risk of flash fire. The recall notice states that no injuries have been reported.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled fireplace fuel immediately. The product should be placed out of reach of children. To participate in the recall remedy, consumers must clearly mark the product container with “DO NOT USE” and the Amazon order number.
