1. Recall Summary
On May 29, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published Recall Number 25307 for VFAUOSIT brand kitchen faucets. The recall was initiated by the manufacturer, Jiang men cai nuo wei yu you xian gong si, of China, doing business as Amazon seller Whisper08. The faucets were sold exclusively online at www.amazon.com from January 2024 through May 2025 for approximately $40. Approximately 29,000 units were sold in the United States. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the VFAUOSIT kitchen faucet, model number 06BNV. The faucets are described as brushed nickel, single-handle kitchen faucets with a pull-down detachable spray and single-hole installation. Consumers can identify whether they have a recalled faucet by searching their Amazon purchase history for “Vfauosit” and “kitchen faucet” and looking for a description that includes: pull-down sprayer, brushed nickel, stainless steel modern, high-arc, single-handle, single-hole, pull-out kitchen faucet for bar laundry RV utility sink. The product was manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled faucets were tested and found to contain lead that can leach into water at levels that can be particularly harmful to infants and young children. The faucets were also found to leach other contaminants. Lead ingestion can cause harmful neurological effects on infants and young children, including attention-related behavioral problems, decreased cognitive performance, and lower IQ. No injuries have been reported as of the date of the recall notice.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using these faucets. Consumers should contact Whisper08 about disposal and a refund. To receive the refund, consumers will need to provide a photograph of the disposal of the faucet and their order number. Whisper08 is contacting all known purchasers directly. Until the faucets can be replaced, consumers should only consume water from the faucets after running the water for 15 seconds.

The official remedy is a refund. Consumers must contact Whisper08, provide a photograph showing disposal of the recalled faucet, and provide their order number to receive the refund. The remedy does not include a replacement product.
