On May 23, 2024, a recall was announced for TOPINCN brand pool drain covers. 2. Affected Products
The recall involves TOPINCN 1.5-inch and 3-inch round pool drain covers sold for use in swimming pools. The drains have two screws and are made of white plastic. The 1.5-inch drain cover measures approximately 4 inches (outer diameter) by 2 inches (inner diameter). The 3-inch drain cover measures approximately 5 inches (outer diameter) by 3 inches (inner diameter). Approximately 340 units were sold. The products were sold exclusively online at www.amazon.com from September 2022 through March 2024 for between $9 and $32. The importer is Dong Guan Shi Li Peng Zhi Dian Zi Shang Wu You Xian Gong Si, doing business as Sanure Storefront, of China. The manufacturer country is China. Model numbers and UPCs are not specified in the recall notice.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled drain covers do not conform to the entrapment protection standards of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA). This violation creates an entrapment hazard for swimmers and bathers. No injuries have been reported as of the date of the recall notice.
