The recall was announced on September 12, 2024. The recall is being conducted due to the painted surfaces of the long hoe and rake containing levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban. This action applies to specific units sold exclusively at Costco Wholesale stores nationwide and online.

– The recalled long hoe and rake have a yellow-painted long wooden handle with the words “Stanley Jr.” painted in black.

3. Hazard Information

Consumers should immediately stop using the long hoe and rake from the garden set. To obtain a free replacement, consumers must visit Red Toolbox’s recall website. The consumer will need to fill out a form and upload photographs showing:
