1. Recall Summary
On November 26, 2025, a recall was announced for Sofoliana and Glotika baby loungers. The recall was issued because the products violate the mandatory safety standard for Infant Sleep Products. The recall involves approximately 200 units sold in the United States. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
2. Affected Products
The recall includes two brands of baby loungers: Sofoliana and Glotika.
– Sofoliana Baby Loungers: These are rectangular in shape, made of a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers with a cloth cover. They are dark gray in color and have a ribbon tie at the bottom of the lounger.
– Glotika Baby Loungers: These are rectangular in shape, made of a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers with a cloth cover. They zip up into a bag with an adjustable strap. They were available in the following colors: gray-rocket, pink-heart, and white-elephant. The printed design is on the inside of the lounger.
Neither the Sofoliana nor the Glotika baby loungers have any markings or labeling.
The products were sold online at Amazon.com from August 2025 through October 2025. Sofoliana baby loungers were sold for between $30 and $40. Glotika baby loungers were sold for between $40 and $50.
The distributor is Shenzhen Bosen Trading Co., Ltd., dba Bosen US, of China. The products were manufactured in China.
3. Hazard Information
The recalled baby loungers violate the mandatory safety standard for Infant Sleep Products. According to the recall notice, the sides of the loungers are too low to contain an infant. Additionally, the enclosed openings at the foot of the loungers are wider than allowed. These conditions pose serious risks of fall and entrapment hazards to infants. Furthermore, the baby loungers do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard if used on elevated surfaces. The recall notice states that these violations create an unsafe sleeping environment and can cause death or serious injury.
No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled baby loungers. Consumers must then contact Bosen US for a full refund. As part of the remedy process, consumers are instructed to remove the foam and pad from the baby lounger’s cover. After removal, consumers must cut the cover, foam, and pad in half. Consumers should then email photos of the destroyed pieces to BosenRecall@outlook.com to receive a full refund.
