3. Hazard Information
The recalled dressers pose a serious tip-over and entrapment hazard. According to the recall notice, the dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall. The products violate the performance requirements of the STURDY Act. Specifically, the dressers can tip over with fewer than 60 pounds applied horizontally. Additionally, the dressers fail to meet the labeling requirements of the STURDY Act. These violations create a risk of serious injury or death to children from tip-over and entrapment.
