Approximately 3,295 units were sold. The helmets were manufactured in China. The distributor is Shenzhenshilonghuaqujialebeibaihuoshanghang (Jialebei Department Store, Longhua District, Shenzhen) doing business as Samit Outdoor, of China. The helmets were sold online at Amazon.com from March 2025 through November 2025 for between $28 and $33. Model numbers and UPC codes are not specified in the recall notice.

The recalled helmets violate the mandatory safety standard for bicycle helmets because they do not comply with the positional stability and certification requirements. As a result, the helmets can fail to protect the user in the event of a crash, posing a serious risk of injury or death due to head injury.
