Missry Associates Inc., doing business as Misco Enterprises, of Edison, New Jersey, is recalling Misco Sports Badminton Toy Sets (model MT2383). The recall was initiated because the product violates the mandatory safety standard for children’s toys. The recall notice was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on May 14, 2026. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products

The recall involves the Misco Sports Badminton Toy Sets (model MT2383). The toy sets are available in blue and red and include a light-up shuttlecock. The model number “MT2383” and the number “100125” are printed in white letters on the black handles of the products. Approximately 15,120 units were sold in the United States.

The recalled products were sold exclusively at Menard’s stores nationwide from January 2026 through March 2026 for approximately $10. The products were manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information

The Misco Sports Badminton Toy Sets violate the mandatory federal safety standard for children’s toys. The hazard is that the shuttlecocks contain button cell batteries that can be easily accessed by children. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and deaths. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries or incidents have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required

Consumers are instructed to take the following actions immediately:
– Stop using the badminton toy set immediately.
– Take the shuttlecock away from children.
– Contact Missry Associates for a full refund.
– Dispose of the badminton toy set, including the shuttlecock (model MT2383), in the trash.
– Send a photo of the disposed product to help@misco.us.
