Ivy City Co., of Riverton, Utah, is recalling approximately 700 units of children’s pajamas. The recall was initiated on January 16, 2025, following a determination that the garments violate federal flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear. The products were sold exclusively by Ivy City, both at their retail store in Riverton, Utah, and online at ivycityco.com, from January 2024 through August 2024. The retail price range for the recalled items was between approximately $50 and $70. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
2. Affected Products
The recall includes the following styles of children’s pajamas and nightgowns, sold in children’s sizes 12-18M, 2T, 3T, 4-5, 6-7, 8Y, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14:
– Mini Bella Bunny Pajamas (with and without Feathers): 100% Polyester.
– Mini Camille Pajamas (with and without Feathers): 100% cotton.
– Mini Petra Short Sleeve Nightgown (green) and Mini Petra Long Sleeve Nightgown (purple): 62% cotton, 33% Polyester, 4% nylon, and 1% spandex.
Product Identification:
– The size and the brand name “Ivy City” are printed on the neck label.
– The side seam label contains the fiber content, washing instructions, and the country of origin (“Made in China”).
3. Hazard Information
The recalled children’s pajamas violate the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. As a result, these garments pose a risk of burn injuries to children. The CPSC recall notice states that the products do not meet the required flammability resistance levels for children’s sleepwear.
