1. Recall Summary
Games Workshop Retail Inc., of Memphis, Tenn., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of KOYO Bounca The Squig Limited Edition Plush toys. The recall was initiated due to a choking hazard. The recall notice was published on February 2, 2022. The product was manufactured in China.

2. Affected Products
The recall involves the KOYO Bounca The Squig Limited Edition Plush toy. The product is an orange plush toy monster with gray antlers, two legs, no arms, a wide-open mouth with big teeth, and green and red pom-poms. The words “KOYO” and “Manufactured By GA Global Limited T/A The Koyo Store” are printed on a fabric sewn-in label on the bottom of the toy. The toy was sold with an attached card stating “WARHAMMER 40,000” and “BOUNCA THE SQUIG LIMITED EDITION PLUSH.” Approximately 2,600 units were sold in the United States. The toys were sold at Games Workshop and Warhammer stores nationwide from October 2021 through November 2021 for about $30.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that the pom-poms can detach from the toy, posing a choking hazard to young children. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries had been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately take the recalled plush toy away from young children. Consumers have two options for action:
– Return the toy to any Games Workshop or Warhammer store for a full refund.
– Destroy the product by cutting off the tail with scissors and provide photographic proof of destruction by emailing the photo to custserv@gwplc.com or uploading the photo using the form at https://www.games-workshop.com/recall for a full refund.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy for this recall is a full refund. Consumers who return the toy to a store will receive a refund at the point of return. Consumers who choose to destroy the product must provide photographic proof of destruction to receive a refund.
