WHAT HAPPENED

A recall has been issued for Kumon Publishing’s ‘Kurukuru Chime’ toy after it was discovered that a screw on the bottom of the product may become detached. The screw, made of stainless steel and approximately 10mm in length, can fall out due to inadequate fastening during manufacturing.

The loose screw poses a choking hazard to young children who play with the toy. Although no injuries have been reported as of the notice date, the defect presents a serious safety risk that requires immediate consumer attention.
