WHAT HAPPENED
A recall has been issued for CO-OP brand gas cartridges (for cassette stoves) sold in packs of three 250g units. The products were manufactured by Nihon Gas Co., Ltd. and distributed by the Japanese Consumers’ Co-operative Union. The recall was announced on February 3, 2017, after it was discovered that a defect in internal components could cause gas leakage when the cartridge is attached to a cassette stove.
