1. Recall Summary
Watkins Manufacturing Corporation, of Vista, California, is recalling Hydromassage rotary jets (6 fin) found in Highlife Collection spas and sold as replacement parts. The recall was announced on February 12, 2026. The recall involves approximately 32,900 units in the United States and an additional 853 units sold in Canada.
2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the Hydromassage rotary jet (6 fin) located in Highlife Collection spas. The following eight spa models are included in this collection: Grandee, Envoy, Vanguard, Aria, Prodigy, Sovereign, Jetsetter, and Jetsetter LX. The recalled jets are present in model year 2023, 2024, and 2025 Highlife Collection spas. The jets were also sold as replacement parts.
The spas were sold by independent pool and spa dealers nationwide from October 2022 through September 2025. The spas were sold for between $16,000 and $24,000. Replacement parts were sold for between $18 and $35.
The recalled jets were manufactured in China. The importer is Watkins Manufacturing Corporation, of Vista, California.
3. Hazard Information
The hydromassage rotary jets can create a suction force that allows a user’s hair to become entangled. This can submerge the user’s head underwater, posing entanglement and drowning hazards. The firm has received one report of a consumer whose hair was entangled in the jets. No injuries have been reported.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled jets. Consumers must go to the firm’s website at http://www.hotspring.com/recalls to determine if their spa contains the recalled jets. To make this determination, consumers will need the serial number located on the front of the spa. If it is determined that the spa has the recalled parts, consumers should contact the firm to obtain instructions and a video that demonstrates how to turn the recalled jets off and how to install free replacement jet inserts in the spa.

The official remedy is a repair. Consumers who confirm their spa contains the recalled jets will receive free replacement jet inserts. The firm will provide instructions and a video demonstrating how to turn the recalled jets off and how to install the replacement inserts.
