Meguiar’s Inc., of Irvine, Calif., is recalling its Heavy Duty Headlight Sealant. Approximately 140,000 units were sold in the United States. The products were sold at Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, O’Reilly Auto Parts, and Walmart stores nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com and other websites. The products were sold from January 2022 through August 2022 for about $30. The manufacturer is Meguiar’s Inc., of Irvine, Calif. The product was manufactured in the United States.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled headlight sealant contains low-viscosity hydrocarbons. According to the recall notice, these substances must be packaged in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). The packaging for the recalled products does not meet federal child-resistant packaging requirements. This poses a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries or incidents had been reported.
