1. Recall Summary
Textron E-Z-GO LLC, of Augusta, Georgia, is recalling approximately 90,800 personal transportation vehicles (PTVs) in the United States, and an additional 7,300 units sold in Canada. The recall involves specific model year E-Z-GO RXV Freedom, TXT Freedom, and Valor PTVs. These vehicles are commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars and are used primarily to transport people. The recall was published on October 16, 2025, and updated on October 17, 2025.

2. Affected Products
The recall includes the following vehicles:
– Model year 2020 through 2025 E-Z-GO RXV Freedom PTVs with serial numbers ranging from 5538278 through 5920722.
– Model year 2023 through 2025 E-Z-GO Valor PTVs with serial numbers ranging from 5538278 through 5920722.
– Model year 2020 through 2022 E-Z-GO TXT Freedom PTVs with serial numbers ranging from 3455024 through 3582057.
– Model year 2020 through 2022 E-Z-GO Valor PTVs with serial numbers ranging from 3455024 through 3582057.

The vehicle’s serial number location varies by model:
– For RXV and model year 2023, 2024, and 2025 Valor vehicles, the serial number is printed near the base of the steering column.
– For TXT and model year 2020, 2021, and 2022 Valor vehicles, the serial number is printed below the operator seat position.

The recalled vehicles were sold at Textron dealerships and distributors nationwide from September 2019 through June 2025 for between $8,400 and $14,000.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled PTV can leak fuel at the quick-connect fitting between the fuel line and the fuel injector mounted on the engine. This condition poses a risk of serious injury and fire hazard. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles until they have been inspected and repaired, if needed. Consumers can contact Textron E-Z-GO for inspection instructions or contact an authorized Textron E-Z-GO dealer to schedule a free inspection. If any signs of fuel leakage are detected, the vehicle will be repaired by an authorized dealer free of charge. Consumers who cannot take their recalled PTV to an authorized dealer for inspection or repair can contact Textron E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer for assistance.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy is a repair. If any signs of fuel leakage are detected during inspection, an authorized Textron E-Z-GO dealer will replace the fuel line free of charge.
