1. Recall Summary
On December 4, 2025, CreateOn, LLC, of Wheeling, Illinois, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of CreateOn Crayola-branded pip-Cubes. The recall was initiated due to a magnet ingestion hazard. The recall notice was published on the CPSC website under Recall Number 26128. Approximately 9,400 units are affected in the United States.
2. Affected Products
The recalled products are CreateOn Crayola-branded pip-Cubes, which are magnetic building cubes. Two color variations are included in the recall: Bold Colors and Glitter. The Bold Colors cubes are red, green, blue, and yellow. The Glitter cubes are purple, pink, blue, and green and have glitter on them. The word “Crayola” is imprinted on the left side of each cube.
The recalled sets are sold in packages of 24 cubes or 27 cubes. The model numbers and UPC numbers are located on the bottom of the product packaging. The specific sets recalled are:

The 24-piece sets were sold at Michael’s Stores nationwide and online at Michaels.com for about $20. The 27-piece sets were sold online at Amazon.com for about $35. All sets were sold from May 2025 to July 2025. The products were manufactured in China.
3. Hazard Information
The recalled magnetic building cubes contain magnets that can become loose if the seams separate. This poses an ingestion hazard to children. According to the recall notice, when high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning, and death. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled magnetic building cubes. They should take the cubes away from children. Consumers should then contact CreateOn to receive a replacement set of pip-cubes. Consumers will receive a pre-paid label to return the recalled magnetic cubes in order to receive the replacement.

The official remedy offered by CreateOn is a replacement product. Consumers who return the recalled magnetic cubes using the provided pre-paid label will receive a replacement set of pip-cubes.
