Approximately 3,540 units of this product are affected by the recall. The products were sold online at Amazon.com from August 2025 through December 2025 for a price between $15 and $20. The distributor of the recalled product is Dongguan Oukatuo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., doing business as BUDI Official, of China. The product was manufactured in China.
3. Hazard Information
The recalled light-up rings violate the mandatory safety standard for toys. The violation is due to the battery compartment within the LED light ring containing button cell batteries that can be easily accessed by children. The hazard associated with this product is that when button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers are instructed to take the recalled light-up rings away from children immediately. Consumers must stop using the product immediately. Consumers are directed to remove the button cell batteries from the light-up rings and properly dispose of the batteries. After removing the batteries, consumers will be asked to throw away the light-up rings.
