Recall Summary

The pajamas were sold in sizes 6-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2T, 3T, 4T, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12. The pajamas were available in three prints: green tractor, green stripe, and tropical fish. The brand name “Free Birdees,” the size, and the RN number 157155 are printed on the neck label of each garment.

Hazard Information
The children’s pajamas fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. This noncompliance poses a risk of burn injuries to children. No injuries or incidents have been reported in connection with this hazard.

Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children. Consumers must then contact Free Birdees to initiate the remedy process. The recalling firm requires consumers to destroy the garments by cutting them in half. After destruction, consumers must send a photo of the destroyed garment and a photo of the garment’s neck label to Free Birdees. Upon receipt of these photos, consumers will be issued their choice of either a full refund or a store gift card. Free Birdees is also contacting all known purchasers directly.

The official remedy is a full refund or a store gift card, at the consumer’s choice. The refund or gift card is issued after the consumer provides photographic proof that the garment has been destroyed (cut in half) and a photo of the neck label.
