On August 1, 2024, Brompton Bicycle Inc., of Brooklyn, New York, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of Brompton T-Line Foldable Bicycles. The recall was initiated due to a fall hazard associated with the product. The firm has received 13 reports of incidents of steering misalignment or loss of steering control worldwide. No injuries have been reported. The recall includes approximately 1,080 units in the United States and about 31 units sold in Canada.

The recall involves the Brompton foldable T-Line Bike. The product dimensions are 25.4 inches high by 23.6 inches wide by 12.6 inches deep when folded. The word “Brompton” is printed on the center tube of the frame. A label providing the frame number and serial number is located on the back of the vertical seat tube. This label also features a distinctive “T” logo, which distinguishes this model from other Brompton bicycles. The recalled bikes were sold in Blasted Titanium color.
