This recall involves Victor Electric folding soft bullet toy guns. The products were sold exclusively on Temu.com by Youjiu. The recall was initiated due to the toy guns failing to meet federal safety standards for projectile toys. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the Victor Electric Folding Soft Bullet Toy Gun. The toy guns were sold in two color variations: black/green and black/sand yellow. The words “KRISS VECTOR” and “.45 ACP” are printed on the sides of the toy gun. Each toy gun is sold with accessories including a magazine, holographic sight, foam bullet projectiles, and toy goggles. The products were sold online at Temu.com from March 2023 through June 2023 for approximately $45. Approximately 490 units are affected by this recall. The importer is Shantoushi Chenghaiqu Youjiu Toy Factory, of China. The manufacturer country is China. Specific model numbers or UPCs were not specified in the recall notice.
3. Hazard Information
The recalled toy guns fail to meet federal safety standards for two reasons. First, the toy guns do not have a blaze orange tip, which is required by the mandatory toy standard to differentiate toy guns from real guns. Second, the projectiles (foam bullets) pose an eye injury hazard to children because they do not meet the requirements in the mandatory toy standard for projectile toys. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should stop using the recalled toy guns immediately. To receive a refund, consumers must follow a specific destruction and documentation process. Consumers should remove the magazine and the battery from the toy gun. Then, consumers must cut the black and red wires linked to the battery. After destroying the toy gun in this manner, consumers must take a photo of the destroyed toy gun. The photo must then be sent to Youjiu’s store through Temu’s onsite messaging system at the following URL: https://www.temu.com/fr-en/office-king-m-55622325238.html.
5. Official Remedy
The official remedy for this recall is a full refund. Consumers who complete the destruction process and submit the required photo to Youjiu via the Temu messaging system will receive a full refund for the recalled toy gun.
