1. Recall Summary
This recall involves Kubota Utility Vehicles with model number RTV-XG850, known as the “Sidekick.” The recall was announced on December 14, 2023, by Kubota Tractor Corporation, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). 3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that components of the steering shaft/steering system could have been improperly assembled. This condition can lead to loss of control of the vehicle, posing crash and collision hazards. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.
