The vehicles were sold in various colors. The data plates on the side of the recalled vehicles contain the model number and specific serial numbers. The affected serial numbers range from 31706-35058, Y1025-Y1310, 50011-50012, and 50075-52920. The vehicles were sold for a retail price between $14,500 and $18,200. The distributor is Kubota Tractor Corporation, of Grapevine, Texas. The country of manufacture is the United States.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that components of the steering shaft/steering system could have been improperly assembled. This condition can lead to loss of control of the vehicle, posing crash and collision hazards. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled utility vehicles. Consumers should then contact an authorized Kubota dealer to schedule a free inspection and free repair. The recall notice states that Kubota is contacting all known purchasers directly.
