1. Recall Summary
This recall involves baby loungers manufactured under the brand names Mamibaby and Cosy Nation. The products are described as baby loungers made of a cloth cover with a foam sleeping pad and padded bumper. They were advertised as “baby lounger” and “co-sleeper.” The recall was initiated due to violations of federal safety regulations for infant sleep products. The recall notice was published on August 15, 2024, under CPSC Recall Number 24340. The products were sold on Amazon.com by MEIXIA Shop and Softbless.

2. Affected Products
The recalled products are Mamibaby and Cosy Nation Baby Loungers. Approximately 32,270 units are affected. The loungers were sold in various printed fabrics and colors, including: Animal, Baby Crown, Classics Dinosaur, Crocodile, Deer, Dinosaur2, Elephant, Elk, Feather, Flower, Forest, Giraffe, Green Leaf, Gray-set, Gray Arrow, Leaves, Lion, Love, Sheep Monkey, Star, Triangle, and White Leaf. The loungers have a tag sewn on the interior of the cover that reads “SLEEPING SET.” Most of the recalled loungers have a brand tag sewn on the exterior of the cover that reads “Mamibaby” or “Cosy Nation.” Some of the recalled loungers did not include either brand tag. The products were sold online at Amazon.com from June 2023 through June 2024 for between approximately $40 and $50. The products were manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled baby loungers violate federal safety regulations for Infant Sleep Products. The specific violations identified in the recall notice are as follows: the sides of the lounger are too low to contain the infant; the sleeping pad is too thick, posing a suffocation hazard; an infant could fall out of an enclosed opening at the foot of the lounger or become entrapped; and the loungers do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard if used on elevated surfaces. The recall notice states that these violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled loungers. Consumers should contact MEIXIA Shop for information on how to dispose of the product to obtain a full refund. MEIXIA Shop and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.

The official remedy for this recall is a full refund. Consumers must dispose of the product as instructed by MEIXIA Shop to receive the refund.
