1. Recall Summary

Magnolia Market LLC, of Waco, Texas, is recalling about 4,350 units of Magnolia 26 oz. 3-Wick Glass Candles. The recall was initiated due to a manufacturing issue involving incorrect wax, which can cause excessive flames on the wicks and lead to the glass container breaking. This poses fire and laceration hazards. The recall was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) as a Recall Alert on November 9, 2023.

2. Affected Products

The recalled product is the Magnolia 26 oz. 3-Wick Glass Candle in a frosted white glass container. The following scents are included in the recall:
– LINEN
– GREENHOUSE
– STAY A WHILE

Only candles with batch number 120122 are affected. The batch number is located on the label on the bottom of the candle, below the price. The candles were sold at Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas, and online at www.magnolia.com from December 2022 through August 2023 for approximately $58. The product was manufactured in the United States.

3. Hazard Information

The recalled candles were manufactured with the incorrect wax. This defect can cause excessive flames on the wicks, which may result in the glass container breaking. The firm has received 13 reports of excessive flames on the wicks, resulting in the glass container breaking. Four of these incidents resulted in minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles. Consumers who purchased the candles online will be contacted directly by Magnolia Market. Magnolia Market is directly contacting all known purchasers.
