1. Recall Summary
This recall involves two models of Lezyne bicycle floor pumps: the Pressure Over Drive (with analog gauge) and the Digital Pressure Over Drive (with digital gauge). The recall was announced on November 6, 2025. The pumps are black, tubeless, and constructed of steel and aluminum. They feature a natural wood-colored handle and a nylon-reinforced braided hose. The Lezyne logo is printed on the side of the pump. Only floor pumps that have a bleed valve located on the front of the base are included in this recall. The recall was issued by Lezyne USA Inc., of San Luis Obispo, California, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The pumps were manufactured in Taiwan.

2. Affected Products
The recalled products are:
– Lezyne Pressure Over Drive Bicycle Floor Pumps (analog gauge model)
– Lezyne Digital Pressure Over Drive Bicycle Floor Pumps (digital gauge model)

Approximately 7,500 units were sold in the United States. An additional 680 units were sold in Canada. The pumps were sold at bicycle stores nationwide, including Art’s Cyclery, Incycle, Bike Bling, Sports Basement, and Over the Edge Sports. They were also sold online at ride.lezyne.com, Jensonusa.com, Backcountry.com, and Velotech.com. The pumps were sold from May 2016 through December 2021. The retail price range was between $150 and $180.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard associated with these pumps is that the pump’s canister can forcefully eject from the base when pressurized. This poses a risk of serious injury from impact to the user or a bystander. According to the recall notice, Lezyne has received one report of a canister ejecting from its base, which resulted in serious injuries to the face.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pumps. Consumers are instructed to contact Lezyne for a free replacement pump, including shipping. Consumers will be asked to visit ride.lezyne.com/recall to register their recalled product. After registration, consumers will obtain instructions on how to properly dispose of their product. Proof of purchase (a receipt) is not required to participate in the remedy.
