Marcus Adler Glove Co., of New York, New York, is recalling approximately 18,700 units of Julie and Judah brand pajama pants and shorts. The recall was initiated because the products violate the mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injury to children. The recall was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on January 8, 2026. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

The recall involves Julie and Judah pajama and lounge pants and shorts sold separately in various prints. The following prints are included in the recall: Fuzzy Heart, Gummy Bear, Star, Star Multi, Teddy Bear, Candy, Graffiti, Sprinkle, Smiley Flower, Shooting Star, Ribbon, Cloud, Boys Varsity Sports (pants only), and Boys Gaming (pants only). The pants were sold in sizes “S”, “M”, and “L”. The shorts were sold in sizes “S” and “M”. The brand name “Julie and Judah” appears on the main label sewn into the pants and shorts.
The products were sold at Groove, J & S Kidswear, Just Between Friends, Mortons, and Stella Mara stores nationwide, as well as online at julieandjudahaccessories.com and marcusadlerny.com. The products were sold from March 2023 through May 2025 for between $16 and $36. The products were manufactured in China.
3. Hazard Information
The recalled pajama pants and shorts violate the mandatory standards for flammability of children’s sleepwear. This violation poses a risk of burn injuries to children. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pajama pants and shorts. Consumers must contact Marcus Adler Glove for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to destroy the pajama pants and shorts by cutting them as directed and permanently marking them with the word “Recall” and a unique identifier. Consumers will be asked to email a photo of the destroyed garment to info@julieandjudahaccessories.com. Upon receipt of the refund, consumers should dispose of the recalled product in the trash.
5. Official Remedy
The official remedy for this recall is a full refund. Consumers must contact Marcus Adler Glove to initiate the refund process. The refund is provided after the consumer submits a photo of the destroyed garment as instructed.
