Hazard Information
The recalled LED balloon lights violate the mandatory federal safety standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries. Specifically, the button cell batteries inside the lights can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the product does not include the warning labels required by Reese’s Law. When button cell batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries or incidents have been reported.
