On November 30, 2023, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published a recall alert for DODO Baby House pack and play mattresses. 2. Affected Products
The recall involves DODO Baby House pack and play mattresses with model number YX-04. The mattresses measure 38 inches long and 26 inches wide. The top and bottom of the mattresses are light blue with white triangles printed on them. The date of manufacture can be found on a tag on the edge of the mattress. There is also a small dark blue tag on the mattress with a cartoon teddy bear holding a ball. The date of manufacture is in the format “YYYY.MM” representing year and month. Only mattresses manufactured on or after August 15, 2022 are included in the recall. Approximately 1,650 units were sold. The mattresses were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from February 2023 through June 2023 for about $34. The distributor is DODO Baby House, of China. The mattresses were manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled mattresses violate multiple provisions of the federal safety regulation for crib mattresses, including the thickness test and missing warnings and labels. The product poses a suffocation hazard to infants. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pack and play mattresses. Consumers must destroy the mattresses by cutting them in half. After destroying the product, consumers should contact DODO Baby House to send photos of the destroyed recalled products. DODO Baby House and Amazon are contacting all purchasers directly.
