On July 17, 2025, Bexco Enterprises, Inc., of Pico Rivera, California, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of Babyletto Kiwi Electronic Recliner and Glider fabric-covered chairs. The recall involves approximately 9,030 units in the United States and about six units sold in Canada. The recall was initiated due to a reported overheating hazard associated with the USB charging port module located in the chair’s arm.

2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the Babyletto Kiwi Electronic Recliner and Glider chair, which is fabric-covered and includes two USB device charging ports. The chair measures approximately 29 inches wide by 36 inches deep and 41 inches high, and weighs approximately 125 pounds. The recall includes chairs in the following production colors, SKUs, and batch numbers. Batch numbers are printed on a white label found underneath the footrest.

3. Hazard Information
The USB module located in the recliner arm can overheat and spark, posing an overheating hazard. The firm has received 37 reports of incidents involving overheating, smoking, or sparking. One minor injury has been reported. No fires or property damage have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled recliners. Consumers should contact Babyletto to receive a free repair kit. Consumers are instructed to register at babylettorecall.com/ to receive their free repair kit and installation instructions. Once the repair is completed, consumers should dispose of the original USB module in their household trash.
