2. Affected Products
The recall applies to Ariens DELUXE-, PLATINUM-, and PROFESSIONAL-series Sno-Thro® snow throwers. The recalled units are bright orange in color and are equipped with either rear wheels or tracks. The model number and serial number are located on a white square ID tag affixed to the frame of the machine. Some recalled snowblowers have already been inspected and repaired; consumers should verify the status of their unit. Consumers should be prepared to provide the model and serial number of their unit. Ariens Company and its authorized dealers will confirm whether a unit has already been inspected and/or repaired, and will perform all necessary repairs on affected units. No other consumer actions are specified in the recall notice.
