Recall Information Record: MGA Entertainment Miniverse Make It Mini Sets
Recall Summary
On June 25, 2024, MGA Entertainment announced a recall of Miniverse Make It Mini Sets containing unused liquid resins. The recall was issued due to the products violating the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. The recall affects approximately 21 million units in the United States and about 1 million units in Canada.
Affected Products
The recall involves Miniverse Make It Mini Sets with unused liquid resins, including “Make It Mini Appliances,” all models and series of “Make It Mini Food,” and “Make It Mini Lifestyle.” Most sets consist of a sphere containing materials required to assemble miniature imitation items. The resin packaging in each set may imitate food items such as peanut butter jars, maple syrup containers, milk containers, and other food items. The sphere wrapper bears “MGA’s Miniverse” on a yellow burst background with product descriptions in bright pink or salmon pink.
Sets packaged in spheres may also be sold as bundles with multiple units. The “Kitchen,” “Multipack,” “All You Can Eat,” “Ice Cream Social,” and “Pizza Party” sets come in dedicated boxes with similar labeling without spheres. The item number and UPC code are printed on the back side of the wrapper.
